Red Velvet Latte


2 (10 ounce) servings


  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 2 drops red food coloring
  • 2 packets Born Sweet Zing™ Organic Stevia Sweetener - Zero Calories
  • 1 ounce (1 square) semisweet chocolate
  • 2 teaspoons instant espresso crystals
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free whipped topping, for garnish


On the stovetop, heat milk over medium heat for approximately 2 minutes, stirring continuously. Stir in food coloring and Born Sweet ZingTM. Add chocolate and espresso crystals. Continue stirring until the chocolate has melted and the espresso crystals have dissolved. Stir in vanilla.

Divide mixture between 2 mugs. Garnish with whipped topping, if desired. Serve warm.
