Blueberry Chai Tea

Did you know that blueberries are high in fiber? Brew yourself a tea that not only relieves and relaxes, but also aids in your wellness goals.

INGREDIENTS

Blueberry Chai Tea

  • 1 Chai tea bag
  • 8 to 10 ounces water
  • 1 packet Born Sweet Zing™ Organic Stevia Sweetener - Zero Calories
  • 2 tablespoons fresh blueberry juice (recipe below)

Fresh Blueberry Juice

  • 12 to 16 ounces frozen blueberries
  • 1 1/2 cups water

INSTRUCTIONS

Blueberry Chai Tea

Place tea bag into a heat-safe mug and pour in 8 to 10 ounces of boiling water. Steep 1 to 2 minutes. Remove the tea bag and add in the Born Sweet ZingTM  Organic Stevia Sweetener. Stir to dissolve. Add in the blueberry juice and serve.

Fresh Blueberry Juice

Place the blueberries and water in a saucepot. Cook over medium heat until the berries begin to split. Turn down the heat to a low setting. Using a masher, mash the berries for 1 minute. Pour the cooked mashed berries through a fine mesh strainer and press the juice out. Discard the blueberry pulp. Store juice in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed jar for 7 to 10 days.  

Yield: 2 cups
